How aHumaann collects, uses and protects your personal data, and the choices you have.
Who we are
aHumaann (ahumaann.com) is an independent VR, gaming and creator website run by Archie, based in the Netherlands. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), aHumaann is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@ahumaann.com.
What we collect and why

We do not sell your personal data. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16; the linked Virethia Discord community is for adults aged 18 and over.
Services we use
- Hostinger hosts the website and its server logs.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.), connected through Google Site Kit, measures visits. It only uses cookies after you agree, and IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4.
- Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd.) shows ads. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google’s certified consent message before personalised ads are used. You can read how Google uses data from partner sites.
- Google Search Console tells us how the site appears in Google Search. It does not collect anything from your visit.
- Gravatar (Automattic) may show a profile picture next to comments, based on a coded version of the email you enter.
- GTranslate translates pages when you choose a language from the language menu.
- Some pages show images or links from other sites, such as app publishers, YouTube or Discord. Those sites receive your IP address when their content loads, and their own policies apply when you visit them.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU. Where they do, they rely on safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Legal bases
We use your consent for analytics and advertising cookies (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), our legitimate interest in running and securing the site for server logs, comments moderation and spam prevention (article 6(1)(f)), and performance of an agreement when you create an account or sign up for the newsletter (article 6(1)(b)). You can withdraw consent at any time with the Privacy and cookie settings link, which is also in the site footer.
How long we keep it
- Server logs: a few weeks, as set by the host.
- Analytics data: 14 months.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Comments and accounts: until you ask us to delete them, or the account is closed.
- Emails: as long as needed to deal with your message.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@ahumaann.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or the authority in the country where you live.
